The Clinical Operations Care Team is a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals working together to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

4. What can the On-Site Ambulatory Care Nurse do?

On-Site Ambulatory Care Nurses can provide any nursing care service on-site and by telephone. This includes direct patient care such as treatments, procedures, & administering medications; care coordination; case management; patient education; and patient triage.

5. What can a Virtual Ambulatory Care Nurse do?

Virtual Nurses can provide any nursing care services that can be done over the phone. This includes patient triage, nurse visits, care coordination, and patient education. They also support the On-Site Ambulatory Care Nurses by helping them with their nurse pools and telehealth nurse visits.

6. What can a Medical Assistant do?

The Medical Assistant's duties include providing clinical support by assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments; patient education; preparing patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical histories; administering medications and tests; and performing administrative tasks such as vaccine inventory and stocking exam exams.

7. What is the role of the MA & RN Clinical Trainer?

The MA & RN Clinical Trainers have the responsibility of training our staff. They assist with onboarding of new staff; collaborate with Clinical Operations Directors, Nurse Managers/Supervisors, and Clinical Floor Supervisors to re-educate staff; complete annual competencies and point-of-care testing; improve and implement new workflows; and assess that our clinical team is providing safe and competent care to our patients.
